URL RedirectsWhen you go to some web page addresses (URLs), the web server will automatically redirect you to a different URL for that site. A very good example is the Harry Potter web site. If you go to www.harrypotter.com, the server will automatically redirect you to harrypotter.warnerbros.com. When you go to such a site in a browser, the browser will understand that the URL has changed, and will make corrections for that. WebScissors, however, is a much simpler tool, and is not able to follow URL redirects. Therefore, you need to be very careful in making sure that the URL you enter into WebScissors is the final URL that any redirects will point to, and not the URL of the redirect.
